The Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) aims to increase production capacity by 19,077 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and 454 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD) by 2023. Most of these projects are expected to be on-stream in the third and fourth quarters of 2023, with a capital expenditure of USD 709.2 million, or equivalent to IDR 10.64 trillion.SKK Migas Exploitation Deputy Wahju Wibowo mentioned that Premier Oil has been onstream, while Medco Grissik and MAC are in the finalization process for the LTRO. The Forel Bronang project, operated by Medco Natuna, is expected to be on-stream in the fourth quarter of 2023, producing 10,000 BOPD and 43 MMSCFD. The Tangguh Train 3 project is scheduled to first drop liquefied natural gas (LNG) before August 17, 2023, and the Indonesia Deepwater Development project for the transfer of participating interests or rights is planned to be completed in July 2023 with an onstream target in 2027.
