Sany Group mulls wind energy equipment production in KazakhstanKazakhstan's President Tokayev met with the leadership of Chinese company Sany Group Co. Ltd to discuss "green” energy projects."The President met with Xiang Wenbo, the rotating chairman of the board of directors of Sany Group Co. Ltd. Discussions between President Tokayev and Xiang Wenbo centered on joint projects in green energy. Sany Group is involved in building a 1 GW wind power plant and exploring options for a facility to assemble towers, blades, and nacelles for wind farms," stated the press release.Tokayev emphasized Kazakhstan's interest in partnering with Sany Group, in the joint production of equipment and components.Additionally, Tokayev proposed that Sany Group establish an R&D center in Kazakhstan to support its activities in the Eurasian Economic Union market.
