Fixed capital investment in Kazakhstan grew 0.8% in Jan-MarchFixed capital investment in Kazakhstan in January-March 2024 edged up by 0.8% year over year to make 2.816 trillion tenge, said the National Statistics Bureau of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.According to statistics, the most attractive industries for investment were the mineral resource sector (28.4% of all fixed capital investment), the manufacturing industry (11.2%), real estate (21.5%), transportation and warehousing (13.5%), agriculture, forestry and fishery (4.4%).Investment mostly came from equity capital of the business entities (77.1% of total investment in January-March 2024), public money (9.1%), bank loans (3.5%) and other borrowed funds (10.3% including 2.4% worth of borrowings from non-residents).
