Kazakhstan intends to export cars to AfghanistanKazakhstan intends to export domestically produced cars to Afghanistan and open its dealership centers there, the press service of the government of the republic reported.“The Kazakh side is interested in suppling domestically produced cars with the subsequent opening of dealer centers to service them in Afghanistan,” Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumangarin said at the opening of a business forum in Kabul.He recalled that following the results of the last visit of the Afghan delegation to Kazakhstan, the task was set to boost bilateral trade turnover to $3 billion.The Kazakh side also proposes to consider implementing the joint projects in Afghanistan in the field of geological exploration, mining and processing of solid minerals, IT technologies.Afghan companies have shown great interest in motor oil: they plan to sign the first contract for the supply of this product from Kazakhstan.It is reported that following the business forum, agreements were reached on the supply of sunflower oil, cereal products and flour for over $12 million.According to the press service, the representatives of Qarmet company (formerly ArcelorMittal Temirtau), Doscar Group dealership center (Kia, Chevrolet brands), Kentau Transformer Plant, Kaspy Group companies (manufacturing of metal structures, production of agricultural machinery), manufacturers of laboratory tests, medicines, fat and oil products, confectionery, textiles and other took part in the Kazakh-Afghan business forum and thematic exhibition in Kabul.
