The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) has launched an alternative business dispute resolution service through the Business Dispute Mediation Institute (LMSB-KI). The mediation service prioritizes efficiency, effectiveness, and professionalism for the business world. The management of the institution is composed of professionals who work independently, have accreditation as mediators, and have a background in the business world. The aim is to resolve business disputes in a consensus-based, efficient, and peaceful manner.The Deputy General Chairperson for Legal and Human Rights at KADIN, Dhaniswara K. Harjono, explains that the services offered by the institution include commercial mediation, pro bono mediation for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and coaching services in mediator training, certification, and accreditation.KADIN will collaborate with strategic partners, including business actors in the MSME and cooperative sectors, industry, associations, ministries, and related institutions. The goal is to create an inclusive, sustainable, and collaborative business ecosystem in the country. The mediation institution is expected to be utilized by all Kadin members and Indonesian entrepreneurs, from small to large scale. (ICE GIACARTA)
