According to the data compiled by the Central Economic Information Centre, in April 2024 a total of 1,943 consumer bankruptcy announcements were published in the National Register of Debtors, which is the third highest monthly figure in the 15-year history of consumer bankruptcy in Poland. Meanwhile, according to the latest data from the Credit Information Bureau, compared with the year-earlier period, in March 2024 repayment quality improved for all four types of loans analyzed, i.e. cash loans, credit card debt, instalment loans and housing loans.
